How to contact the developers

If you encounter any issues while using Vinyl Desktop, please let us know through one of the following platforms:

What information to include?

The more detailed information you can provide, the easier it is for us to fix the issue.

Examples of relevant information:

  • A clear description of the issue or bug
  • A step-by-step guide on how to reproduce the issue
  • A log file of the application
  • In case of a visual bug: a screenshot showing the problem

Where to find the log file?

Note

A new log file is created every time Vinyl Desktop is started, and only the log files for the last 5 sessions are stored.

The filename of the most recent log file is always vinyl-desktop.log.

If the issue did not occur the last time you ran Vinyl Desktop, please make sure to submit the log file for the correct session, by checking its timestamp.

On Windows:

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Vinyl-Desktop\logs\vinyl-desktop.log

On Linux:

~/.local/share/Vinyl-Desktop/vinyl-desktop.log
